The Materials

Staples: You need staples of 6 and 8 mm.

Hard paper: You use it to cover the case. It has a width of 1.5 cm.

Decorative tacks: You need them to finish the chair.

Neoprene glue: The liquid neoprene glue is best to ensure the strength of the seat and back rest.

Foam: You need three different kinds of foam. For the seat, you use a foam which is 3cm thick and 40 kg of foam density and a 8cm thick with 35 kg density. The foam with 3cm thickness and 25kg density is for the back rest.

Dacron wrapping: You need a wrapping, that should be between 100g - 150g density.

Chip foam: The chip foam must be 3cm in height. You need about 2m in total.

Cotton strapping: The cotton strapping is used only for the back rest.

Elastic strapping: The elastic strapping is used for the seat of the chair.

Fabric: Use a standard upolstering fabric (tight weave for heavy use). You can also choose a less solid tissue, if the chair will become a decorative element.

Muslin: The white fabric is used to put the chair in white, that is to say to cover and hold the foam. It serves to protect the foam from the air and light.

Thick muslin: The strong canvas is used for the back rest. It should have a density of about 425g.

Bottoming cloth: It is used to protect the foam and dust and to hide the straps. It can be replaced by a thick canvas.
