I was impressed by the places that we visited and the people that we have meet. It was a great opportunity for me to have the chance to visit this beautiful places (that I only saw in the movies), to meet new and interesting people from other countries, to talk in English and to make new friends". Llangollen presentation :)
Fri, 2010-02-19 17:39 — Tina CiursaDear Shella and Shan,
Tomorrow I will meet the wonderful ladies of the Romanian group
and they are very curious to find out more about Llangollen. During the last two weeks we have spoken a lot about the learning week so each of them started to ask questions about the destination
.
I remember that in Stara Lubovna, Vivian presented us some interesting information about Llangollen; could you send us the power point presentation that he had made?
Wish you all a nice weekend!
Pob hwyl!

VISIT TO WALES LEARNING WEEKEND
Fri, 2009-09-04 11:35 — SheilaDear all,
Please could you consider the Wales visit during the following mid-week dates - unfortunately the prices of the hotels in the area during the weekends in May, June, July and Aug are extremely high. However, I have got us a v.good inclusive price if we agree to the event taking place as follows: MONDAY 24th May, TUESDAY 25th May, WEDNESDAY 26th May, THURSDAY 27th May - 4 nights - I may be able to secure an extra night on Friday 28th if we need it, but we must decide this fairly quickly. Another consideration, if we take rooms with twin beds for double occupany the price is cheaper for us, single occupancy is more expensive and they are a bit limited on the number of rooms available.
This is the deal price I have: Based on 20 delegates, Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal with wine: for 2 people sharing a twin bedded room will be £51.00 per person. For a single occupancy Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal £75.00 per person. In addition to this for our daytime meetings we are looking at a day delegate rate at the moment which will be around £25.00 per person to include morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and use of the internet. We probably wont need this every day and may be able to negotiate on how many delegates we want to include. The hotel is the Wild Pheasant in Llangollen and has good facilities. Can I please impress that they have agreed to hold the rooms ONLY until I return from Slovakia so we really must have a decision by then folks!
