Place the Fabric
Take the axis of the front side of the back rest and place the fabric. Fold the edge at the bottom, tack in the middle and on the sides.
Fold the fabric to staple it inversely and take out the tacks. Cut the remainder of the fabric and leave 2cm, then staple the carton paper along the edge of the back rest.
Staple the Dacron
Place the Dacron wrapping and staple it starting at the bottom. When you staple the Dacron at the top, do it at the edge to not interfere with the fabric. Finish the sides and cut the remainders.
Stretch and Pleat the Fabric
Turn over the fabric and stretch it in height whilst tacking the fabric starting in the middle to the extremities.
Stretch the fabric in its width by passing the hand over it. Start with the bottom and tack the fabric. Cut the remainder of the fabric leaving 2cm, as the fabric will be folded for the finish.
Starting at the top, you now have to fold and tack the fabric beginning in the middle to the extremities.
Staple the Fabric
Repeat the movements whilst stapling. The fabric should not end at the edge of the frame but in the middle, so that the decorative tacks cover the staples.
When you staple at the sides, start in the middle and finish at the extremities.
The Corners
On the top of the sides of the back rest, you have to fold the fabric and staple it once on each side, then fold the last corner, which will finish the pleat and staple it.
Tacking
To tack decoratively, start at the top fro, right to left for people that are right-handers, and vie versa for the left-handers, to not hide the tack situated before the one you tack into the back rest, with the hand. Finish on the sides.
