Fabric Cutting and Fitting

Transferring the Pattern: The fabric has to be placed, right side on right side, on an even surface. The transfer of the pattern takes place on the left side of the fabric. Pay attention to the fabric grainline.

Fabric Cutting: When cutting, leave space fir seam and hem allowances. It should be at least 1cm.

Marking: The seam line is transferred on the other side via tacking stitches.

Tacking: To verify the accuracy on fit of the skirt, it is recommended to baste the pieces together.

Fitting: Before continuing, the fit of the skirt and desired length should be checked.

If you are satisfied with the fitting, you can now start sewing the pieces together.
