Bees’ harvest

The first stage of bees labour is the harvesting of nectar in the flower. The bees are organized in society and the harvesting is the work of “foraging bees”.

Foraging bees aspire with their trunks nectar that is in the flower. The nectar of the flower contains honeydew which is composed of pollinator insects’ dung. During the return flight, the foraging bee begins to develop the honey in its crop with an enzyme that is mixed with nectar in order to get a substance which is composed of glucose and sucrose.
